Two video workshop weekends giving a hands-on introduction to digital video making including non-linear editing.

for:

Suitable for beginners or those wanting to update video skills or try new digital video techniques. Run at an easy pace, no prior experience required.

create:

You will create a short video involving crunching ideas, shooting, transferring to a computer, finding a soundtrack, editing with the pro-grade non-linear Final Cut Pro, and then upload the result to YouTube.

covering:

An introduction to the digital video camera, automatic and manual settings, basic shot types, using a tripod, digitising footage, editing, transitions, sound mixing.
