Impossible Arts

We create innovative participatory, installation, digital and live arts events which intrigue and involve people from many different backgrounds. Our skills and experience covers a wide range of areas (click headings to see more):

PARTICIPATORY: Much of our work is socially engaged and highly participatory in nature, and we often work in disadvantaged communities helping people to consider aspects of their own lives anew and involving them in the creation of the work itself.

YOUNG PEOPLE: A major focus of activity is in our creative learning work with or for young people, either within or outside schools and colleges. Much of this work is with teenagers and young adults from a wide range of backgrounds.

THEATRE: Our roots are in the performing arts having produced a series of strongly visual, richly musical pieces. Some of our work draws on this vein of theatre and performance experience.

VIDEO: Film, Video and new media play a leading part in our work, straddling personal creativity and the utilisation of new technologies to offer participants dynamic participation in the creation of personal artwork.

INSTALLATION: Our installations can often be found outside traditional arts establishments in venues such as community venues, factories, shopping centres and railway stations. Other exhibitions interact with people in gallery and other arts settings.
